Today is a off day, no ride. Tbilisi is the capital of Georgia and the largest city, lying on the banks of the Mtkvari river. Although the city has been destroyed and rebuilt some 29 times, the layout of the Old Town is largely intact with narrow alleys and big crooked houses built around courtyards. Indeed it is pretty and you can find cozy cafe and restaurant with roof top terrace a little bit everywhere.
We went to auto/moto market this morning. Few things to do; new tyre for the Kawa and purchase some specific screws for the Benelli back frame (the last one broke yesterday). This auto bazaar was impressive, you can find everything for cars and tools. From the brand new Mercedes to the old Opel Corsa, you will find your happiness if you like mechanics.
Few hours later and after a delicious pork bbq & home made potatoes lunch, we went for a walk.
First we climb until the Narikala fortress to have a top view of the city and then we went down to the old Tbilisi, very distinctive old styles balconies, ancient churches and charming shops.
Then, we heard about some famous public sulfur baths, so we went in and had some hot springs underground the city.
It was good but after 15mins getting boring, so we went back to the hotel and get ready for a traditional Georgian diner.
